Shannon Keller is awesome. Shopping for insurance is far from the top of my "favorite things" list but Shannon seems to have found a way to make it pleasant. She knows the local situation well! She communicates and is responsive, traits that are not easy to find these days. She quickly assessed our insurance needs and found the appropriate options for us. It's simply a pleasure working with her. She also seems to possess a knowledge of the products she represents. I'll do business with her again.

October 16, 2023 I welcome this opportunity to recognize our insurance agency Wilgus Associates, Inc., along with our stellar, Personal Lines Agent, Ms. Kim Nicholas. Over the years we have enjoyed a warm and wonderful experience whenever a need, or even a reminder has unexpectedly popped up. Ms. Nicholas and Wilgus have always been there to assure we have the optimum insurance coverage on our South Bethany, DE residences, making sure we get just the coverage we need, nothing more, nothing less. They are also our safety-net. I hate to say how many times Kim and Wilgus have bailed me out when I’ve been asleep-at-the-wheel, thereby allowing critical items to fall through the cracks; it’s a lengthy list I’m embarrassed to admit. The relationship goes beyond business, however. Kim knows our family and always inquires about them. She and my late father-in-law enjoyed a professional yet familial bond that continued up to his passing. They were buddies, and he held her in the highest regard. I do too. Wow! I'm very pleased that my family has worked with Wilgus for the past several summers for rentals in Fenwick Island. They have provided us with several options as our family has grown and each rental was perfect for us. They ask for the specifics we are looking for and each time have come thru. The staff is so friendly and helpful - it has been a great experience and I look forward to working with them for years to come.

I had issues with my insurance and Shannon Keller addressed them for me in a professional manner. I felt that she was doing everything to solve my problem. We are now in the process of solving the problem and I am sure she will continue to do an excellent job.

I have been a customer for 2 years. My agent Kimberly Nicholas is just wonderful to work with. I always say if you get the right person on the other end of the phone you will get the job done and Kim is that person. She has gone out of her way to help me in so many ways. If I leave a message, she gets back to me right away. She has a pleasant demeanor and is a kind soul. She is one person that I don't mind calling because she will get the answers I need. The home was perfect for my growing Family. Having six bedrooms and 6 bathrooms worked perfect. Two refrigerators also was a plus! A huge kitchen and large family room were used everyday. The screened in porch is a nice plus but wasn’t used much due to the perfect hot weather. This home also provided plenty of nice beach chairs and one big nice beach umbrella. Like any home including our own homes little maintenance touches are needed but I’m confident this home owner will make them all. Overall, my family enjoyed this home and will consider it again in the future.

Wilgus Associates provided excellent customer service for our vacation stay in August. They were friendly, courteous, and accessible. Would definitely rent from them again!

We had an awesome week visiting Bethany Beach. This house had all of the amenities of home. The washer and dryer worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool, which was very close to the house, and extremely clean and relaxing. The outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. We brought our 2 small dogs and the community is dog friendly with a lot of places to walk them. The beds were all comfortable. Would definitely like to return. Thank you for a great week!

We have rented the property at 105 Central Blvd. for years. Always a pleasure for my husband, myself, our two daughters, our son-in-law and two grandchildren. Lots of space and the Grays have thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable! Also a pleasure dealing with Wilgus. Friendly staff and always available to help with any questions. Looking forward to next year!

For an extended stay, I wanted to plan a rental through a realtor rather than go direct to an independent owner who might not be available at all times. My agent at Wilgus, Charissa, walked me through all the properties that were available for my dates and helped secure the condo at Sea Colony that would work out best. The process was easy and organized.I am very glad I went this route for the rental. I felt I had someone available for questions and who was close by, in town, in case anything came up. Only one issue arrived (which was minor- internet service) and after I left a message for Charissa, she got me information within an hour and I was back up. Also during this extended stay, some mandatory inspection was occurring in my building at Sea Colony, and the Wilgus office kept me totally informed of the project. I was able to plan my day around it and it was not a surprise or a nuisance in any way.This was my first stay at Sea Colony (and in Bethany Beach) so it was a benefit to have the Wilgus team walk me through all the logistics of the community - parking, registration, etc. - and also let me know exactly what fitness center and pool was open during the off season. The condo owner was great in working with Wilgus to have the unit ready for me.The condo itself is lovely! The kitchen and baths are very nicely up to date. The furnishings are comfortable and exactly what you'd want to enjoy a beach visit. Honestly, I opened the blinds to the full wall of windows in the living room and the large windows in the master bedroom overlooking the ocean and that was all I needed. The sunrises are worth getting up early!If it was not winter, I would have been on the balcony every minute - it is large and private. Also didn't realize until I got there how great the location is. It is walking distance to the downtown of Bethany, the boardwalk area, and a number of restaurants. Great place in a great area.

Great company to deal with renting a condo at sea colony

Property Management by Wilgus: Basically Made of Amazing. I love my HOA and my Property Management by Wilgus Associates. This is a phrase or a sentence that I never could imagine typing...or even thinking, much less feeling. But since moving into the Savannah's Landing community in Ocean View I have encountered such an amazing HOA experience like none ever....in any of the several communities I've lived in before... at twice the price! Our neighborhood is carefully groomed, enjoys pristine open space areas, generously and frequently mulched, enjoys lush plantings, white picket fences (which are being replaced this year), sparkly community pool, refreshed tennis and pickleball courts, and they even arrange to have our delightfully nostalgic antique streetlamps hand cleaned! So, I am guessing it's a fine partnership with amazing HOA leadership team combined with the diligence and professionalism of Wilgus...but truly, truly, admire and appreciate how they have created a delightful community like no other....and kept HOA fees reasonable, too! Thank you!

Our rental at Sea Colony was great. Check in and check out were easy. The agents were very helpful when our 4 year old grandson locked the bathroom door with no one in it! We booked the same unit from Wilgus for next year!

Good communication from the very beginning of our rental. Easy and organized check-in and check-out. Lovely property and area - quiet, but with easy access to beach, trolley and center of town. As a three generational family, we had activities during the week that appealed to each group. Very pleased with our rental.

We've worked with Wilgus in Bethany for several years. So far everything has gone extremely smooth. Easy check in and out, no rental unit issues.

This was a lovely townhouse - really well appointed - in a quiet neighborhood! The owner is clearly thoughtful planning for guests - with nice touches like some starter paper products, kitchen essentials, and the like. The pool was terrific too! There were notes to explain things, like state of the art TVs. When there was an air conditioner issue it was resolved quickly. A most enjoyable stay!

We used Wilgus to obtain insurance for our property where timing was of the essence. Shannon gave top-notch customer service by giving us peace of mind and a policy that met our needs. We had the issue cleared up in about an hour.

Wilgus Associates has provided insurance for our home in Delaware since 2020. Kimberly Nicholas is our agent; she is outstanding! She exhibits the qualities insurance agents must possess in order to be successful. She has people skills; communication skills; provides good customer services and is easy to contact. She evaluated our needs and determined the appropriate insurance policy. She explained complex insurance terms. Ms. Nicholas just didn't pitch a policy and presented numbers. She established a personal connection, actively listened and offered a comprehensive selection of products and services that met our needs. My wife and I are happy to have Ms. Nicholas as our Insurance Agent and our policy with Wilgus Associates Inc.

We have rented from Wilgus for years. They are easy to deal with and always available with any question or concern. They are conveniently located even with a drive up window. The home we rent always exceeds our expectations in cleanliness and accommodations. We love the little extras like a starter set of paper and soap products. Thanks for another great year.

This was our first time visiting Bethany Beach and renting from Wilgus. Everything was simple and professional- from start to finish. We booked the house pre-COVID, and our agent Crystal provided us with a variety of properties to check out to meet the needs of our family of 9. The house was perfect and within walking distance to the beach and town. Check in went smoothly, and the drive through check- in perfect, especially with COVID. We called around 1:30 PM to see if the property was ready, and was told they would check and give me a call back. True to her words, we received a call back about 15 minutes later telling us the house was ready. Would definitely recommend Wilgus agency and the Bethany Beach area!

We have rented this house before and just love the space and the short walk to the beach and shops. Nice restaurants nearby. There is plenty of room for our whole family without feeling like we are cramped.

100 Campbell Place is a great place to stay. Have been with Wilgus for years and will continue summer rental through the Wilgus team.

Beautiful home—bright and clean. Kitchen had brand new appliances and everything we needed. We were right across from the pool and enjoyed the private, fenced in backyard. Great place to get away. Very relaxing!

This was our first time renting through Wilgus Associates in Bethany Beach. The property was as pictured and generally clean, although there were the remains of someone's Covid test wrapper on the floor in one of the bedrooms. The check-in and check-out procedure was fairly seamless. While we were checking in, we were told there was a plumbing issue (toilet leak) but a plumber was on the way. He did arrive shortly after we began moving in and took care of the issue promptly. A few negatives - I called on our 2nd day there to report the ice maker in the freezer wasn't working. No one ever did come to repair it. There were some ice cube trays in a storage closet (although difficult to get ice out of them) so thankfully we were able to have ice during one of the hottest heat waves of the year. There is a DVD player in the unit, but it is not hooked up. Also, there is a standard coffeemaker in addition to a Keurig, but it is old and misaligned. We were aware we had to bring our own linens/towels, soap, and paper products which we brought. There were no garbage bags, which was not stated and we were not expecting, so after filling the garbage once we had to find alternatives. Overall, we had a good experience (most of these inconveniences were minor) although I might consider a different property in the future.
